Concha was born in Seville, forty-one years ago and she studied History, Geography and Social Anthropology at Seville University. She arrived in Vejer after several years of anthropological research and as is the case with most people, was very impressed by the beauty of the town.
She has been here ever since and is now married with two small children. Part of her happiness is due to having found a wonderful job in a small town, something which she had never imagined to be possible.
She has always wanted to be a teacher and has put a lot of time and effort into preparing herself for the job – taking courses in teacher training and an on-going in-service training with La Janda. She sees her job as a small and amazing window onto the world, through which for the last ten years she has been able to contact people of all ages, cultures and walks of life.
In her free-time she likes meeting up with friends for a drink in the local bars and cafés, listening to music, going to the cinema, and to the theatre whenever she has the chance. She feels very lucky to be able to enjoy the beach whenever she feels like it.
