Caroline works in the school office at International House Vejer.  Caroline came to Vejer from England with her family more than 25 years ago, intending to stay for only a couple of months. 

She found the area so beautiful and the local people so friendly, that having bought some land and built a house she has now put her roots down so deeply that she has no intention of ever leaving.  Caroline worked in Vejer for many years as an English teacher before deciding to study for a Masters in Translation. 

Once she had her MA she moved into secretarial and translating jobs before joining La Janda in 2002.  Her work at La Janda provides an ideal opportunity for combining her teaching experience with her administrative and translation skills. 

She feels very fortunate to have such a varied and interesting job which allows her to have contact with so many different people.  In her spare time, Caroline works in her garden, writes, reads and spends time with her many visitors and friends.
